Cape Trafalgar: Naval Mod for Napoleonic Wars

We are pleased to offer your the first naval mod for Napoleonic Wars: Cape Trafalgar.

Our mod is completely vanilla-compatible. Your server visitors won't need to install anything. All you need to do is to install the mod on your server.

This mod was designed to allow naval linebattles between regiments. Cannons were added seamlessly to schooner ships. The mod will also allow dynamic melee combat thanks to our respawn system.



WARNING 1: This mod was designed for conquest. If you play with another game mode, you won't have all the options.

WARNING 2: Due to performance limitations, this mod won't work with big events.
To improve performance, decrease the number of canons/ships used

MOD FEATURES

  • Schooners spawn with carronade canons.Canons are slightly more inaccurate.More canons = more HP.You can choose the number of cannons spawning on each ship (mapping feature)Players can spawn and respawn directly on the ship. Each schooner can be selected as a spawn flag.Victory is reached when all enemy ships are sunk.You can board an enemy ship and activate a crate to sink it.Teleportation doors enabled.Enabling auto horses slay in admin panel will block respawn.Admintool-enabled: you can select custom maps in the admin panel using the Admintool.
INSTALLATION
Download the file, copy the content and replace the files on your server.

WARNING: Our mod includes a scenes.txt file that will work for our custom map pack (in the download section). Don't overwrite the scenes.txt file if you don't want to erase your custom maps data!

MAPPING
  • Add entry points 0 and 1 somewhere on your map.Add a canon somewhere on your map.Add entry points 64 and 65 somewhere on your map.Add schooners.Give your schooners a team: Var 1:1 = Team 1. Var 1:2 = Team 2.Choose the number of cannons per schooner (2, 4, 6, 8 or 10): Var 2:2 = 2 canons.If you have more than 2 schooners on your map, add one headquarter_flag_grey for each additional schooner, under the ground so that it won't be visible.A door_destructible with var 1 = (between 70 and 100) will teleport to an entry point with the same var 1.
